Hai guys....
kali ini saya mau membahas seputar warning, ikuti terus ya...

• What is warning ?

Warning adalah sebuah kata atau kalimat yang berisikan tentang himbauan, larangan, serta ajakan kepada seseorang. Biasanya disajikan dalam bentuk tulisan, simbol, serta perpaduan diantara keduanya.Warning hampir sama seperti notice tapi tingkat bahayanya lebih tinggi dari notice. Sehingga larangannya bersifat lebih keras.

• Purpose of warning

· To give direction: untuk memberi arahan.
· To ask people to… : untuk meminta orang supaya…..
· To advice/to suggest/to recommend people to.. : untuk menganjurkan orang supaya……
· To give insturuction people: untuk memberi petunjuk
· To warn/to give warning for someone : untuk memberi peringatanuntuk seseorang
· To ban/to forbid/to prohibit people to.. : untuk melarang seseorang untuk….
· To command people to do... : Untuk mempeintah seseorang untuk melakukan...

- Don’t

- Beware!

- Be carefull of

- Danger!

- Look out!

- Watch out!

- Mind the traffic!

- Don’t touch the wire!

- Don’t touch the latern

- Don’t play with the latern!

- be careful,the road is slippery!

- I think you're making a mistake

• Example :

Beware of wild widow! (Awas ada janda galak!)

Beware of pickpocket! (Hati-hati ada pencopet !)

Be quiet please! My grandma has toothache. (Harap tenang! Nenek saya sedang sakit gigi)

Throw the rubbish into the dustbin! (Buanglah sampah ke tempat sampah)

No smoking in the water! (Dilarang merokok di dalam air)

Do not laugh without voice! (Dilarang ketawa tanpa suara)

Do not breath for an hour only! (Dilarang bernafas satu jam saja)

Beetwen me and my mother
Mother : hi canda, what are you going ?
Canda : I will going for a while to learn together at Aida's home, to borrow his biologi book. Perhaps yes mom ?
Mother : yes. but be carefull because the road is slippery !
Canda : Okay mom, thank you.
